Jetty Road

Set in present-day Adelaide, Jetty Road explores the intertwined lives of two sisters, Paula and Evie Haggerty, one a nursing home matron, the other a childcare worker. Past trauma returns to bite Evie; new betrayals await Paula. Their trust in one another is tested as they come to terms with old hurts and wrong choices, accommodate the new twists in other siblings' lives, and blunder through shared responsibilities for the new generation, Paula's adolescent son and small daughter. "Jetty Road" is about growing up, kids and oldies, working hard, sturdy friendships, remembering, and looking forward - about life, actually, and how we never really grow into it.
