Publisher Description
“A year ago, I would’ve never guessed things would be this way. Afterall, I was just a girl in LA.”
Ellie’s life isn’t exactly going as planned. Stuck in a dead-end job, at least she has her adoring boyfriend Finn to support her … or does she? With her world quickly falling apart, good friend Pete convinces her to tag along on the trip of a lifetime to sunny California. A chance encounter in LA lands Ellie a job offer she can’t refuse, but who is the mystery employer she’ll be working for? And why all the secrecy? Ellie’s life is about to get a lot more interesting, and there’s only one shadow she needs to step out of—her own.
Just a Girl in LA is an uplifting, funny read for hopeless romantics and a reminder that you should never give up on happiness. It can be found in the most unexpected of places.
Customer Reviews
Utterly charming!
They say a good book should have your interest by the end of the first chapter but that didn’t happen for me with this book. Instead, I was utterly hooked by the first page! A wonderful story filled with so many relatable emotions and dreams. I literally struggled to stop reading this book! An amazing accomplishment Laura, well done! I look forward to the next one!
