Just a Girl, Standing in Front of a Boy might just be bestselling author Lucy-Anne Holmes’ best novel yet. We loved seeing the world through the eyes of outspoken, witty heroine Jenny Taylor, who finds herself torn between two very different men—while also attempting to rebuild a relationship with her estranged mother. (We also adored Jenny's zany best friend Philippa, who offers up wisdom and comedy in equal measure.) Holmes skillfully balances serious issues like depression and bullying with heart-warming romance. We finished this book with a lump in our throats and an ear-to-ear smile.

Could not put this book down? Read it at every given moment, I instantly fell in love with the characters fanny and Philippa and Al and their funny ways I want to be friends with them! I can't wait to read the authors other novels, Amazon here I come!
