Brought me comfort

I bought this book after my beloved dog Ratty was put to sleep, he was 12. Him getting very poorly was sudden. But reading this book I was in tears and still am. Our beloved dog had lost his back legs aged 7 and reading this book I felt such guilt that even though he didn’t show it, his life was limited. Even though we loved him dearly and he still went for tiny walks, he wasn’t able to do the things that he use to love, chase cats, squirrels etc. This book was honest, heartbreaking and truthful. Thankyou to Geoffrey Bains for writing this book.
