Kenbridge, the First Hundred Years

Kenbridge has a rich history which grew out of tobacco as a crop, and beautiful land upon which to farm and raise families. Included in this centennial history 1908 - 2008, is a description of the people and events which shaped this crossroads prior to incorporation as a town in 1908, as well as the last hundred years. Many photographs of buildings, homes and the people who helped form the Kenbridge history are included as well as personal accounts of business owners, civic leaders and family members who tell their stories of commerce, family and way of life on the Southside of Virginia.
