Khanjar

Salah arrives in the UK from Dubai on his way to university. It's the first anniversary of the attack on New York's Twin Towers. His father is dead, his mother is missing; he's preoccupied with his own issues and terrorism is farthest from his mind.

At the university, Salah becomes politically aware. His personal grievances are aroused and turned into a crusade against injustice everywhere. Identifying with a local group of 'activists', he becomes progressively more extreme, with catastrophic consequences.
