Kiddleywinks and Pirates

Arti Treetwaddle's father had once been a pirate and Arti had been brought up on pirate songs and pirate yarns. No wonder she decided that a pirate life was one day going to be hers, too. Her father arranged for her to be apprenticed aboard The Silver Nightshade where, in order to be a full pirate, she had to go through an initiation test.

This very funny story describes Arti's adventures with her pirate friend, Lilly, and his parrot as she performs the tasks set for her by Captain Blighter.
