In Saudi Arabia, Marine Brig. Gen. Bradley Middleton is kidnapped by two mercenaries working for Gates Global. After Swanson is chosen to be part of a rescue team, helicopters carrying the rescuers crash on landing, and Swanson is left with only his exceptional combat skills and his high-tech rifle, Excalibur ("a sniper's wet dream"). The action reaches such a furious pitch that readers will hardly notice an overly romantic subplot or the clumsy machinations of the evil trio.

I agree with a previous poster
If you like action books and films then this is a must read, read all 3 currently in the series, they are action packed, thoughtful and often shocking in detail, but you will enjoy reading these so much that like a previous poster said, you won't be able to put them down and definitely won't want them to end . top marks, bring on the next Kyle Swanson story soon please!!

Read all his books. This one was the best. Could not put it down. Wish I had never got to the end.
