Absolutely Amazing, Emotional and Addictive Read
This is book five in The Donovans Laurel Bay series and it is Marissa and Patrick’s story and omg it is definitely a must read. Marissa hadn’t had a easy life and kept to herself a lot but the one thing that was good in her life was working for Patrick and she was great at her job and worked hard but today was one of the worst days because when she popped home for lunch everything in her house had be trashed and anything she had with any value was gone and her brother was the one that did it but it is always Marissa that had to clean up his mess. Patrick lived and breathed his job in real estate and was always busy and so thankful for Marissa who was a great worker and took such a load off him at work so that he could concentrate doing what he did best and he certainly didn’t have time or the inclination to date even though his mother was pushing woman at it. When Patrick’s mother will not give in trying to find him a woman and Marissa situation gets worse Patrick suggests a marriage of convenience for a year to protect Marissa and help him as well. The more time that Marissa and Patrick spend together the harder they fall but what happens when the threat is taken away, will they communicate with each other about how they feel and get the happiness and future that they both deserve or will it all fall apart with them missing out on something so special, only time will tell what the outcome will be for them. This book takes you on a rollercoaster ride of emotions and I couldn’t put it down even though at times I was in tears with everything that was happening and had to keep turning the pages because it was so addictive. The characters and storyline pulled you in right from the start and completely hooked you in and kept your attention throughout the whole book. I definitely recommend you read this book, series and other books by Samantha Chase who is an amazing author and writer and her books are worth reading and you will not be disappointed and I am really looking forward to reading Levi’s story next.
