Publisher Description
A story of hope and second chances in Regency London.
Kitty Bennet is finished with love and romance.
She lost her one-time fiancé in the Battle of Waterloo, and in the battle’s aftermath saw more ugliness and suffering than she could bear.
Staying with her Aunt and Uncle Gardiner in London for the winter, Kitty throws her energies into finding a husband for her hopelessly
bookish sister Mary, and discovering whatever mysterious trouble is worrying her sister Jane.
But then she meets Mr. Lancelot Dalton, a handsome clergyman with a shadowed past—and discovers that though she may be finished with love, love may not be at all finished with her.

Customer Reviews
Profound
An outstanding series. Gripping and thoroughly moving. When I started the first book about Georgiana I thought the love story weaved about them was perfect. it was genius adding the battle of Waterloo. It's about how through horror and war, death and pain, heart break and disaster, Love endures all things. It provides perfect character development for both kitty, Georgiana and Mary. What I love most about these books is the excellence of the character development.
Simply, heart renderingly, beautiful.
Great Read
I love Jane Austin's books and Anna Elliott has given the characters a great continuation. Hope she writes more about the characters in Jane Austin's books.
