Laeba - The Thief

Laeba is an epic tale set in the magical land of an Ethiopia long past. It follows Mekonnen, an orphan boy and Hiwot, an uncommon village girl. It is a story of two young people searching for purpose while wrestling with the competing destinies set before them, and in some cases forced on them by people with selfish and grand desires of their own. In a land of castles, kings pursuing power, priests tempted by that same power and an empty Emperor's throne the country descends into an all out battle between good and evil and the adventures of Mekonnen and Hiwot reveal that while some things can be given freely others must be stolen. They stole a king’s hope, she stole the throne, and a stranger stole her heart.
