A jousting accident leads to teaming up with an unknown detective...
When Amy and Ambrose arrive at a museum for a well-deserved day off, they find themselves pulled into an investigation they never saw coming, a jousting accident.
With plenty of witnesses, a dangerous sport, and no end of information, it seems like the case could be a simple open-and-shut one, even if it's not supposed to be their own.
But as more comes to light, they realise that what appears to be an accident, might not be as simple as they first thought.

Mystery
Great read ideal for the beach as not too long and drawn out. I really like Laura’s writing and this certainly didn’t disappoint . This is the setting I’m sure for more from this new pairing of super sleuths . Great characters situations and above all a compelling immersive read thanks to the great descriptions, wow I’ve said great a lot but it’s better than being grating … I digress …this is a good book and it’s well written so go read already….
I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I Liked It
I love the way this duo always give us such fun books, their writing is low-key, enjoyable and always hits the mark. This one tells how a night out at a jousting exhibition turns deadly serious for Amy and Ambrose. One of the participants is dead, is it an accident or is it murder?
They are out of their precinct but when has that ever stopped them? Will they solve the case, is there really a case to solve?
