Lazy Dogs Dance is a novel about Rachel Rosenbloom who writes a book about her ex-husband who left her fifty years ago on her wedding night. When the novel is made into a movie, and as Rachel's career evolves, she falls in love with Max Taylor, a film producer. Struggling with her conflict about love, the industry, daughters, loving two men, and letting go of her obsession, Rachel is faced with new decisions, until on the end she makes new choices.
