Lessons from the Sower

Basically, seeds don’t yield the same amount of fruit. Every child of God must have this understanding in order not be frustrated by unfulfilled expectations. Some ventures are like sowing among thorns or on stony ground. Initially, such ventures may appear as though they have prospects, only for diminishing returns to set in later. futility of indiscriminate sowing from the Parable of the Sower amounts to a waste of seed, time and energy.
