Lifeboats of the Hunter

The lifeboat at Spurn Head, covering the Humber, is Britain's only full-time lifeboat, with a crew always on station. With over 500 rescues and 760 lives saved, the station is also one of Britain's busiest. Illustrated with over 150 black & white and colour images, the book tells the story of this lifeboat station, as well as the daring rescues the many crews have undertaken. 2010 is the 200th anniversary of the founding of the station.
