LIFT & SHIFT

Lift & Shift is a ‘scrap book’ compilation of the activities of the Brambles Brisbane Heavy Haulage and Crane Business. It showcases a period of five decades, up to the time of the sale of Brambles Cranes to Holts Industries in 2001. The book is a ‘glance in the rear view mirror’, - a glimpse at where we have come from. It gives us an understanding and appreciation of what our predecessors experienced as they sought to build their business and the business’s of their customers and suppliers.

Lift & Shift takes a look at the industrial development of Queensland, the customers and industries Brambles serviced, the people they employed, the equipment they sourced, the suppliers they used and the incidents they had.
