Lisa Greer's world was turned upside down during the life-threatening birth of her fourth child, Joshua. Between Joshua's 111-day stay in the ICU ("NICU"), providing care for him, keeping her family together, and staying sane, she was living in constant crisis.

About the Author

Lisa Greer is a technology industry veteran and mother of four. Her youngest child, Joshua, lives with autism and a complex genetic condition called Prader-Willi Syndrome, which has no known cure.In 2014, Lisa lived through multiple existential threats to herself and Joshua. Amid chaos and despair, she decided to take control of her situation and fight for Joshua, herself, and her family. She invented a unique system for managing life with a member of the household who has special needs called the S5 Shield. Living Fierce shares that system with others.Lisa's system has transformed the lives of Joshua, her husband, Neil, and their children, Robert, Megan, and Amanda, from chaos to stability. As an entrepreneur, musician, and athlete, Lisa loves mechanics and tinkering with innovative ideas. She holds both a Master's Degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor's Degree in Media and Communications; both from the University of San Diego.
