At the funeral, Leah asks him to investigate Krista's death. The police think it was a hit-and-run accident, but Leah is sure it was murder. When Rick, whose creed is "Sometimes you have to do what's right even when the law says it's wrong," learns that Krista had reopened the cold case file on Colleen's murder just one week before her death, he knows that the two crimes are connected. The twisty plot takes readers down some false trails before reaching the explosive climax. Noir fans will be well satisfied.

If you read the 6 books (so far in the series) then by reading them in order you will have gone on the journey I have with Rick Cahill from page 1 book 1 to the end of Lost Tomorrow’s. The angst that our flawed hero has suffered throughout concludes in a powerful ending and nicely rounds off many unanswered questions from the previous books.
I don’t want to spoil story so I just recommend read this book and better still read all the Rick Cahill stories, it’s really worth it.
Don’t want to spoil the story so I recommend this book wholeheartedly and I promise that it is worth reading the whole series from start to finish.
