Love by the Hour

When life-altering situations knock people down, there are three types of people:

those who get up and fight their way through it;

those who stay down and never recover;

and one (and only one) person who does whatever she can in order to save her Italian leather shoes.

This is the story of that one person, and she is a retired sex worker who wonders if she can find love, feel joy, and find a place to hide the body so the detective can't find it.

This is probably not the kind of book you think it is.

There is a homicide, but this isn't a mystery.

There is dating, but this isn't a romance.

There is sex, but this is neither porn nor erotica.

This is a dark comedy about things that aren't funny, but don't feel guilty if you find yourself snickering and chuckling your way through it.
