Publisher Description

When the fierce redhead with the beautiful ass walks into the local bar, I can tell she's passing through. And I'm looking for distraction while I'm in town—a hot hook-up and nothing more before I head back to the city.

If she has secrets, I don't want to know them.

If she feels good underneath me, I don't want to think about it too hard.

If she's my future, I don't want to see it.

I'm Blake McKenna and I'm about to teach this Boston socialite how to forget every man who came before me.

When the future I had always imagined crumbles before my very eyes. I grab my two best friends and take a much needed vacation to the country.

My plan of swearing off men gets railroaded when on my first night of my vacation, I meet the hottest guy on the planet. I decide he could be the distraction I might just need.

I'm certainly not going to reveal my deepest secrets to him as we steal away each night hoping no one will notice.

And the last thing I'm going to do is fall in love for the first time in my life.

My name is Mackenzie Locke and I haven't got a handle on men. Not even a little bit. Not until Blake.

4.5 stars - Light hearted sexy read with humour and emotion

Love Rehab completely surprised me because it was so not what I expected from the teasers and blurb; it was actually so much more heartfelt and emotional than expected with a very realistic edge to the book. The book takes on the theme of a woman searching to find a fix as to why she keeps failing in making it to the altar with a guy and, as a result of her latest failure, signs up for a rehab retreat with her girlfriends. However, instead of cleansing herself to find how to fix things, she gets caught up in a temporary fling with the host’s brother…and maybe the right man for her. If you are looking for a relatively light hearted sexy read with humour, definitely give this book a read!

Mackenzie and Blake, who alternate points of view, have an instant attraction that heats up very quickly. Their relationship develops into more than expected over the few days together and at a fairly fast rate but with both at a crossroads in where their futures are going the last thing either is thinking about is a relationship. Both characters are fairly likeable and relatable, although as with all characters they have a few traits that grate on you a little at times. Mackenzie’s two friends, Rose and Kennedy, really helped develop her character further in showing a different side to her in contrast to the side we see developing with Blake. There are plenty of steamy moments between the two that helps showcase their sizzling chemistry that they just can’t ignore.

Love Rehab is an exquisitely well written sexy contemporary romance with such a refreshingly unique plot and quirky characters. The book is full of twists and surprises as these characters go on their own journeys in order to find happiness and love. The book can be read as a standalone with a HEA as all things are tried up for Mackenzie and Blake but I really hope we get books for Rose and Kennedy.

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this book and can’t wait to see what Louise Bay comes up with next! Definitely recommend you give this book a try!
