Publisher Description

Argued March 14, 1990 Action to recover for legal services rendered to the defendants, brought to the Superior Court in the judicial district of New Haven, where the defendants filed a counterclaim claiming negligence in the legal representation rendered by the plaintiff; thereafter, the matter was referred to Hon. A. Frederick Mignone, state trial referee; judgment for the plaintiff on the counterclaim; subsequently, the matter was referred to Hon. Harold M. Mulvey, state trial referee; judgment for the plaintiff on the complaint, and appeal by the defendants to this court. No error. We have fully considered the defendants' claims of error. In light of the thorough and well reasoned memorandum of decision of the trial court, Hon. A. Frederick Mignone, state trial referee, reaching factual Conclusions that are fatal to the defendants' claims, we find those claims to be without merit.
