Intrigued/hooked by the first chapter
This is the first novel I have read by this author and I was intrigued/hooked by the first chapter and the unusual premise of astrology and second sight. I loved the language used by the author "hideosity" of a hat, "splendiferous" smile and the underlying humour, how in the hero's thoughts she was a "fairy general". If you like stories about managing females and inept males, then you should read this novel. This is a standalone story. I look forward to reading more by this author.
I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. I was not compensated for my review, and I was not required to write a positive review. The opinion expressed here is my own.
