Holiday Romance
What a way to see how the other half live. When Mira the maid is mistaken for socialite thanks to not being able to carry a heavy coat and a large vase , her knight in shining amour ( intentional typo) comes to her rescue. He’s intrigued and wants to see her again , then he invites her for a walk … the more she tries to refuse his advances and wants to walk away the more she likes him and the way he is with his daughter Isabelle/ Izzie is heartwarming. Things go awry and she nearly gets fired . How can there be an happy ending now?…. No spoilers here. I love Hope August’s easy style of writing that immerses you so much into the story it feels real . Thoroughly enjoyable holiday cosy that screams hallmark aww.
