A Really Beautiful Read
This is book one in The Walker Family Series and it is Madeline and Jackson’s story. When Maddie becomes disillusioned with her job after not being able to progress she decides to leave it all behind and move back to Rivers Edge and also being near her dad is a bonus so when she sees a job advertised as a supervisor for a construction company and with her qualifications she decides to apply for it only things don’t always go as planned or expected. Jack as now taken over as CEO for his family’s construction company but with it struggling and wanting to make it better he decides to advertise for a crew supervisor but imagine his surprise when Maddie who he had met recently and was instantly attracted to walks in for a interview he decides not to hire her because he doesn’t mix business with pleasure not knowing that he has make a big mistake. When Jack realised some time later when the person he had hired was a mistake he knew that he will need to find Maddie and grovel while trying to convince her to take the job even if it means risking his heart in the process. The more time that Maddie and Jack work together the harder they fall but danger is just around the corner and Maddie is the target but will Jack be able to take down the threat and then tell Maddie how he feels before it is too late and they end up missing out on a future together. I really enjoyed this book and I loved Maddie and Jack together because they were so perfect for each other in every way and I can’t wait to read the next book in this series.
