Some girls don't like pretty things.
Some girls like things that are destructive, and toxic. Things that fuel our bodies with adrenaline and bring our demons to their knees.
They say magic isn't real, but it's it the closest way to describe love? It doesn't exist physically. It merely exists around us, within us, possessing our souls and making us do stupid s**t. S**t like falling in love with a boy who knows how to rip my world apart and raise hell with a simple flick of his wrist. Their secrets are now mine. I'm not just in the middle of this game, I'm helping orchestrate it. Can the cries of my aching soul be enough to drown out the burning embers of my mistakes?
The mind strengthens the heart, roughing the edges to prepare it for war. This is a war I will not win.
This is a war of fate.

Malum part 2
Wow......Amo Jones has done it again with her amazing words from her incredible brain!!!!!
A definite must read, but it’s best to read in order
5 Amazing Mind Blowing Stars!!!
After the way we were left with part 1 I was eager to dive into part 2. It picks right up were we left off and continues with a bang!
The thing I love most about Amo’s books is that you never know what could happen next. This is once again another book full of so many twists and turns, keeping you on your toes until the very last sentence.
I honestly didn’t know what to do with myself half the time! One minute I was crying, the next I was shouting out in frustration and ready to hurl my kindle across the room! Tillie and Nate’s story consumed me completely, mind, body and soul. Amo has truly outdone herself, it is without a doubt a masterpiece of a story and I cannot wait to see what else is in store for the Elite Kings in the future!
Amo’s best book to date
Wow! Malum part 2, dead!
I am infatuated by this series and the brilliant Kings and completely in awe of Amo. There is so much mystery and intricate details my head is spinning and I would love to get into Amo’s head while she’s plotting away.
“When he watches me, he doesn’t just look at me. He studies me, examines me, strips the flesh from my bones with a simple squint of an eye”
Nate and Tillie. I’ll be honest and say I wasn’t sure if they could make it work, there was hate and they were both so damaged after Micaela.
Although Nate tried to keep Tillie and his feelings away the more I got into this book you just know that these two dark souls only burned for each other no matter the right and wrongs between them and when he accepts his feelings, he’s like night and day. Gone is the dark, calculating, angry man and in comes the kind, sincere and dare I say it sweet Nate all while still being hot as hell in his possessive demanding ways.
I love Tillie and her bratty quirkyness. She’s strong, fierce, will do anything to protect others but underneath she hurts, she feels and questions her beliefs. She’s also always horny, I laughed every time someone gave her a glance.
But the way Amo totally gets in her head, hearing her inner thoughts, I don’t think I’ve read an author who fully dives into the mind of their characters the way Amo delivers hers.
I will admit I did have my doubts about Daemon at one point, but nothing prepared me for the real rawness of the revelation. There was pain, real pain and my heart broke for Tillie.
Although this book was for Nate and Tillie, I loved that Brantley was in it a lot, the chemistry/friendship between him and Tillie was sincere and I definitely thought at one point we were getting a MFM novel, ha!
For me this is definitely Amo’s best book to date. Every page was enthralling pulling me in deeper and deeper while my heart was in my stomach so many times with all the twists, turn, mystery and secrets. And just like Tillie, “my soul attaches itself to darkness” and the alluring words of Amo. Hands down the best series I’ve read and I can’t wait for the next instalment.
Side note - Bishop and Madison, why?!?! *cry*
