Mark's Deadline

This 9,300-word prequel is a fun read. It is the prequel to MISSED DEADLINE, a book by award-winning author Jacqui Morrison. Mark Steves is in grade eleven in Baysville, Ontario. The novella begins in 1979. Mark may be headed in the wrong direction and might not attend Grade thirteen. A chance encounter with a newspaper reporter moves Mark from being the class clown to a keener for school and volunteering. Mark Steves will be prominent in the novel as well.
