When Ellena’s carefree sister, Justine, and her lover, Kit, go missing after an avalanche, Ellena takes care of their child. Until she gets tangled up in a custody battle with Kit’s brother Gideon, who threatens her right to raise the baby. So she agrees to go through with a fake marriage to Gideon, who is as determined to raise the baby as she is. By marrying, they can make themselves more attractive candidates for adopting the baby.
