Master of War
This was a novel that I enjoyed reading enormously. The unusual plot and sub-plots kept me guessing throughout, making me turn the pages avidly to seek out where this story was going to lead. The hero, Thomas Blackstone, is a terrific character, a reluctant but supreme warrior, forged from the poverty of Olde England to fight on the battlefields of France. A cracking read!
