Master Wolsey

The Plantagenet line of kings is dead. The Tudors have arrived.

England, 1485. Henry Tudor sits on England's throne following his defeat of King Richard III at Bosworth Field.

Into this new world comes Thomas Wolsey, a clever and ambitious young man who finds the world of Oxford universities too confining for his talents. When he is offered a post as tutor to the sons of Lord Grey, Thomas seizes the opportunity, and so begins his meteoric rise to power. It's a journey that will place him at the very heart of the Tudor court in service to the king of England himself!

But Thomas has no idea how treacherous the court can be. His swift rise from butcher's son to man of influence creates enemies at court, chief among them the king's mother, Lady Margaret Beaufort.

There's only one way Thomas will survive, and that's to convince the king he can't manage without him. For a man of Thomas's talents, that shouldn't be too difficult.
