Love love love The Cold Fury Boys
How I love Cold Fury Hockey, Sawyer Bennett brings to life the loves, lives, traumas and passion of the hockey stars and the women they love. Book 6 focusses on Cold Fury goalie and full on romantic Max Fournier, and I've got to say, Max is hot and he's gorgeous on both the inside and the outside. In fact I would go as far as to say he is one of the most humble and caring of The Cold Fury boys. Max meets Julianne one night in the convenience store where she works (one of two jobs). Julianne is a carer of 3 young children trying her best to make ends meet and do the right thing for her charges. No matter how much sh&t life throws at her, Julianne perseveres, and she is such a beautiful genuine person (I adored her), trying to do the best with the skills and knowledge she has, along with an ever depleting bank balance. Max is like her knight in shining armour. Is Julianne and Max's story a real life Cinderella dream or will it just be too much for Julianne to deal with? We all know that the Cold Fury puck bunnies are super possessive and super bitchy. The story is told in dual POV with lots of insight into previous Cold Fury couples, a story that is both emotional and sexy, true to itself. I never want to miss one of these guys. Love love love. I received a copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley for an honest review.
