Publisher Description
The intimate - and surprising - autobiography of Britain's most adored band
Prepare to meet the real McFly …
In 2003, Tom Fletcher, Danny Jones, Harry Judd and Dougie Poynter came together and formed what would become one of the most popular and successful bands in the UK. Just teenagers at the time, they were catapulted into the limelight and had to adapt quickly to their new-found fame – and everything that came with it. Now, at last, they have decided to tell their story, in full and revealing detail.
Speaking with candour and their trademark humour, Tom, Danny, Harry and Dougie share both the stories of their own lives and that of McFly. They give their personal insights into their contrasting childhoods, the individual paths that led them to the band, the struggles they have each overcome, their love lives and, of course, their music.
Packed with previously untold stories, a lot of laughter and the occasional tear, Unsaid Things offers a privileged look into the lives of four guys who started out as bandmates and became best friends. Their unique camaraderie radiates from every page and by the end of the book, you’ll know them almost as well as they know each other …
Tom Fletcher, Danny Jones, Harry Judd and Dougie Poynter have been together as McFly since 2003. They hold the record for being the youngest band to have a debut No 1 album in the UK. Their hits include: 'Five Colours in Her Hair', 'All About You', 'Please, Please' and 'Shine a Light'. They are one of the biggest bands in the UK.

Amazing!!
Love Mcfly and this book was just amazing. Deffinatly worth the read xx :-)
Really loved it
I've always been aware of McFly (currently age 23) but only recently started to love them, and this is the first autobiography I've ever actually been interested in all the way through. Suppose it's nice to know they've all had relatively normal lives, I live near where Danny grew up and was inspiring to read his story, and the lives of the other guys too as the weddings of Tom&Gi and Harry&Izzy seemed lovely. Love the last few songs, especially all the different versions of Love Is On the Radio, and Love Is Easy was amazing too. Definitely going to keep an eye out for future stuff, and a bit gutted I can't afford to see McBusted (saving for a house). Definitely going to try and see them some time.
Definitely recommend reading their story :)
Not for the easily addicted
I must start off this review with a few points;
1. I do not read books
2. I'm not a huge McFly fan
3. However, I'm a huge Directioner, I bought their book Forever Young 2 years ago and haven't got past the first page.
Now ;)
I started to read this book yesterday (today is a Tuesday, I started early hours Monday morning) I have not put it down since, I've literally been hooked, two days in a row I've stayed up until gone 7am cos I wanted to read on now (not good!)
A fantastic book which is a fantastic look at McFly life, also gives you an insight into Strictly and I'm A Celebrity. Two shows I love.
Overall I cannot fault this book, well done boys!
