• NOW, TODAY, DATE, MONTH, DAY, YEAR, TIME, HOUR, MINUTE, SECOND, WEEKDAY and NETWORKDAYS Date & Time functions,
• SUM, RAND, SQRT and ROUND Math & Trig functions.
• AVERAGE, MAX, MIN, COUNT, MEDIAN, MODE.SNGL, and LARGE Statistical functions,
• VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP and FORMULATEXT Lookup & Reference functions,
• DSUM, DCOUNT, DAVERAGE, DMIN and DMAX Database functions,
• PROPER, SUBSTITUTE and LOWER Text functions, and
• IF, AND and IFNA Logical functions.



Using the new Quick Analysis feature to quickly insert row and column totals is also discussed.

Prerequisite

The Napier & Rivers courses Microsoft® Excel 2013: Getting Started with Excel and Microsoft® Excel®2013: Working with Formulas and Functions or equivalent experience working with Excel 2013 in the Windows operating system environment are prerequisites for this course.


Note that this course emphasizes using the traditional keyboard and mouse actions to perform tasks in Excel 2013. Some relevant tips for working with Excel 2013 with a Windows 8 touch-screen device are also provided.
