Minetta's Garden

Minetta's Garden is an adventurous book for young children who wish to  join Minetta, a loving Great - Grandmother and her friends as they explore her magical garden. 

Minetta's friends include a grumpy cat named Theodore who comes alive and full of life when Minetta is in her garden singing. Bumble, is the adorable, plump and clumsy bumble bee who adores Minetta and loves buzzing around the garden. Ethel the pumpkin is full of wisdom and has been a friend of Minetta's from an early age when they both lived in the beautiful highlands of Preston Hill, Jamaica.  Gregory the memory tree ensures Minetta never forgets her memories as he stores them all.  Gregory's roots are fertilised by Minetta's rich past and whenever Minetta wishes to remember her past, she calls upon her dear friend Gregory.

This book is the first of many to come and sets the scene for magical adventures in the future.  Readers will be able to meet all of Minetta's friends and see Minetta's beautiful, bright, enchanted garden.  Readers will also have the opportunity to see Minetta in her element, dancing and singing amongst nature.

This book is complemented by enriching colourful illustrations which help to narrate the story to younger readers.  You can encourage young readers to spot the different animals, trees and flowers whilst reading the book.
