Christmas romance
This is the second book in the series, which I got for free on my Kindle as a "Christmas Boxed Set" before I realised I had also downloaded this single book onto iBooks. It was a quick & easy read, very enjoyable, with very few typos. I give this book 3.5*.
The start of the book is quite funny & there is one love scene, so not as clean as the first book, "Mistletoe Mischief". Although it can be read as a standalone book, the characters from the first book feature in this second book.
Mark's initial meeting with Janelle Walsh is not good: he frightens her ponies, nearly hurting her I the process. However, the two of them can't help the attraction between them. What happens when he inadvertently has her evicted, & her animal rescue centre closed down? Can he come up with a better plan that will save the centre, help the townsfolk & win him the girl's heart?
This is a story that involves Santa (who is Janelle's granddad) & mistletoe. Although I liked the two main characters, I felt it went too quickly: they barely spoke to each other after Mark moved in, yet she suddenly forgives him realises she's in love.
