Excellent Zero reference with great interactive features
This is the second of MMP's interactive ebooks I have read, and it is just as impressive as the Gladiator title. The Zero book has, if anything, dialled back the bells and whistles, with fewer 3D manipulatable models, but instead focussed on improving the book-reading experience without distracting from it. There is the usual MMP range of great reference photos, but with this book you can pull them out, zoom in and look at them in detail. There are captions you can switch on and off, and alternative images showing different angles of the same component, for example, this fitting even more images in than usual, while still relating them to the text. This would be a great, detailed and authoritative title on the Zero even without these features - each model is explored in depth - but the interactive elements really enhance the experience without ovlerloading it or seeming gimmicky.
