5* A tense page turner.
Having recently enjoyed and finished Blue Water Horizon, I thought I'd try another of Glenn Trust's books. While both are thrillers, Blue Water Horizon is lighter, Mojave Sun includes corruption and perversive behaviour.
I read the majority of Mojave Sun on a particularly hot day which well matched the dusty Nevada setting. The book started gently enough, then exploded into extreme action, the short chapters, sometimes merely two pages long, increased the suspense.
Whilst the plot is gripping, it's descriptively bloody, maybe not for a faint hearted reader.
I didn't want to put the book down, so I didn't.
