Kalen’s confident, cocky and crass attitude won me over instantly, he was a sexy jerk that at times I could see why Bailey wanted to slap him yet other times couldn’t resist him. I’m Scottish and have never noticed before the effect the word lass could have ; )
He was the perfect MC to help Bailey get over her ex and have some fun with.
I loved both MCs, Bailey wasn’t as mousy as she first seemed and it was good to see her loosening up and getting over the insecurities her ex had installed in her. She turned out to be pretty badass when she needed to. I also loved when she stood up to her ex!
The story had me hooked, I was a little gutted when I realised I was almost at the end. Then the cliffhanger came!! I wasn’t prepared for a cliffhanger and need book 2 to be here ASAP, I need more of Kalen and Baileys story.

A steamy, sexy romance with brilliant characters and a great story. You won’t be disappointed...so go read it!

Money Man by Terri E. Laine turned out to be much more than I was expecting. For one thing, it’s not a standalone and finishes with a bit of a cliffhanger.

Kalen is sooo sexy. He’s a dark, brooding, dominant and yeah, kind of arrogant Scot. He’s been brought to New York by his father, and not by choice either.

Bailey is different from most heroines. She was brought up in a community and sheltered most of her early life, but she knew what she wanted even as a teenager and when given the chance she left home and started college. Once in the ‘real world’, she knew she wouldn’t go back. She has learned a few hard truths in her four years of freedom. Being true to herself was one of them, but when she bumps into Kalen, she isn’t prepared for the effect he has on her.

She stood up for herself… mostly, but when faced with the burning chemistry between them she doesn’t really stand a chance… until the end. She finds herself in the one place she’d never thought to be again. What comes next?? We’ll find out next month when Part Two releases.

I’m in love. I know, I know, I always seem to fall hard for the leading men, but I swear, this is true love. Kalen Brinner is perfect. Yes he’s a bit of a controlling take charge alpha, but when push comes to shove I believe he’s got a soft side, I think there’s so much more to him than book 1 shows us (yes, it is a cliffie, and yes, I’m devastated I’ve got to wait, but on the plus side, I get more Kalen, and that’s not a bad thing, far from it). Like most of my book boyfriends, Kalen doesn’t do relationships, doesn’t even consider it, until Bailey Glicks walks into his life. Bailey is a good girl, a very good girl, who has been wronged by her fiancé, she’s sick of lying, cheating men, but isn’t that what her sexy one night stand is turning out to be?? I loved it, from the very first page I was hooked, the synopsis says it all, the writing was perfect, the characters great, and the chemistry between Kalen and Bailey was off the charts. These two were on fire. Bailey’s ex Scott was a real douchbag, but got to say her bestie, Lizzie, was my kinda girl, positive, cheeky, and always supporting. I can’t wait to see where book 2 takes us. I was lucky enough to get an advanced copy of this book from the author. This is my honest review.
