I don't know if I like it or hate it. Moulton has made some normally negative characters into his most positive characters for this one. He captures a piece of underground culture very well – but he was a rock musician, so he probably was fairly accurate about the kinds of fantasy worlds they live in more than with reality. It may be good from another perspective.

Deadly Routine Nick Storie mystery

A woman who owns a business returns from a trip to fid her husband murdered within hours. Gangsters and worse are involved.

... Or So the God Said  Clint Faraday mystery

Clint is having a discussion on the bus with a priest from The Church of Absolute Truth in Life .. or something such. The conversation gets weird. There are always a few nutcases here, so he doesn't think much of it – until the murders.
