Murphy's law

Lyn Murphy spends her summers in the peaceful beauty of Jackfish Provincial Park campground in Saskatchewan. Though this year is different. She is newly widowed, recently retired and suddenly estranged from her daughter, though Lyn doesn't know why.

The campground's pastoral atmosphere is suddenly shattered when two mysterious deaths occur at the park, one, that of a stranger, the other, a dear friend. Lyn finds herself entangled in both cases. As she tries to handle both her personal griefs and the community mysteries, she learns that not everyone is what they appear on the surface. The authorities believe Lyn knows something important, a seemingly insignificant detail perhaps, and they soon learn the killer believes that, too. Now, with a target directly on her, two deaths threaten to grow in number.
