Roger Phillips Mushrooms
I have used the book successfully for a number of years and wanted it on my iPad. I have the Collins Bird Guide and it is very usable being adapted as an e book. I also have the Helm Guide to Bird ID, a facsimile edition, so not so easy to navigate through but manageable. Mushrooms is dreadful! Each species is on a separate page with no means of comparing similar species. I could use the contents page but e. g. “Mushrooms with Gills” runs from page 45 to 1,083 with no means of gauging where a particular genus, let alone species, is likely to be found.
I should have realised it has been produced as an easy option as it is only 78MB compared with the Bird Guide at 10 times that figure.
A total waste of money as far as I am concerned.
