Very engaging light read!
I really liked everything about this book! It was an especially light read after having watched all the relevant episodes from the Netflix series, but the content material was still very engaging. I especially thought this of the portrayal of Miyo’s abuse and how that manifested into her mannerisms and thought patterns. It was nice seeing the thought processes behind different characters’ actions, which I missed in the Netflix adaptation, and I’m looking forward to exploring this world more with the rest of the books in the series.
