I wrote this book in 2010 after twelve years of maintaining a succesful and trouble-free low carbohydrate lifestyle. I updated it in January 2020 while I was writing "An Essential Nutrition Diet and Cookbook" when I noticed that it could be improved. It is encouraging to know that I have learned to write better in the last nine years.
I have enjoyed twenty two years in a low carbohydrate lifestyle, maintaining a stable weight, eating great meals, experiencing overall good health, never going hungry, incurring in diet violations when I thought it was worth it, staying in ketosis most of the time, having no regrets, and benefiting from an unexpected mental sharpness. Should I mention not suffering sexual impotence ever? I hope this way of eating will also maximize my longevity but I will not know this until, God willing, many years from now.
In 2019, at the age of sixty three, my small pot belly came back and I had to make adjustments to my low carbohydrate lifestyle to eliminate it again. I experimented with a low carb low fat diet (Stillman) and a low carb high fat diet (ketogenic). I found out that to lose weight, I had to reduce my food intake to only the food that is essential for my health. At the same time, I had to make sure that I would not be deficient in any essential nutrients. I had to use my knowledge of low carbohydrate dieting, review the latest advancements in ketogenic diets, and flow naturally and effortlessly into intermittent fasting. I am writing this latest experience in "An Essential Nutrition Diet and Cookbook" which will be published on April 2020 and is currently available for pre-order at a discounted price.

This was one of the best books I've read about low carb diet. It is full of useful informations. It is written in a very simple way for anyone to understand. I can't wait to change my life through watching what I eat. Thank you so much for writing it!
Everything I ever needed to know!!
Iv finally found what I was looking for, I found I didn't have the money to buy the books I needed to get the info about low-carb eating ,then I got my iPad and straight away I found what i was looking for and for FREE!!!! Honestly this book covers everything bout low-carb eating good points and the low points ,ther has been slot of work and research gone into this book, and I now feel confident enough to do it :) thank you for taking the time to write and share this with us.
