"One of the BEST FRIENDS TO LOVERS romance reads!" - Lamplight Review and Promotions
He's the hottest handyman on TV, but he only has eyes for his best friend.
Kit Carlyle isn’t just some woman. Beautiful? Yep. Seductive? Damn straight. She’s also my best friend and my co-worker. But, hell, I’m a guy with a pulse. Every once in a while, I look at her and think filthy things.
But when her cousin dies and leaves her with a long as hell and sexy bucket list, Kit turns to me for a helping hand. What can I say? I’m a sucker for a woman in need. Besides, I’m not about to let another man steal away my girl, occupy her bed, or fill my shoes.
But as the stakes get higher and the items become hotter, I’ll have to face the toughest challenge of all: admitting I want more than Kit’s friendship. I want to make her mine.

Nailed Down was a really enjoyable friends to lovers read that I devoured in one sitting. The story was engaging and fun and I really liked how it was set on the back drop of a reality show with a bucket list to draw our to lead characters relationship to a head. This was a sweet and sexy story laced with some real emotion but with plenty of light humor. Add in solid likeable characters with great chemistry and all in all this was a really enjoyable book.
I was provided with a copy of this book from the Publisher; there was no inducement or obligation and I opted to leave a review.
I'm kind of undecided about this book. Some bits I loved, some bits were meh!
I enjoyed the two characters when they weren't so guarded but I did get abit fed up with the will they won't they bits. For such an alpha character I expected Kane to be less wishy washy. Every time I expected something to happen he backed off and it didn't feel genuine, he really needed to man up at times as there were just too many wasted opportunities.
Kit I liked very much, I kinda got where she was coming from and I liked when she took charge towards the end. When the two characters finally got it on it was super hot! Electrifying chemistry and I think it would be a better story had that happened sooner. I just wasn't feeling it but I love Chelle Bliss and will definitely still be picking up the next book in this series and I think Kane's brother could prove to be an interesting character.
