It has been nine years since I lost you. I cannot believe it has been that long already. I have had two private investigators looking for you and your sister. Every time they find your mother, Mirna, and try to serve her, she disappears again. She packs all of you up and moves you. The last time we tracked you, girls, to Mexico, then to Arizona. Where has she brought you now? Paula, I wonder how you are doing in school. I found newspaper clippings of you being an all-star athlete, playing more than one sport in high school. Sandy won awards in swimming. But every time we locate these small traces of you girls, it is just that, hints, ghosts of your past. I wonder if I will ever be a father to you girls?
