Never Picked Up

Sometimes, what we wish for isn't what we really need.

Every spring, the bunnies return to a special pen outside a hotel, where families stop to visit, take pictures, and enjoy the Easter festivities.

But one little black bunny has a problem. While the other bunnies get picked up and cuddled, he always seems to be left behind.

Why doesn't anyone choose him? Is it because of his black fur?

When he finally talks to the white bunny who always gets picked up, he discovers something surprising: the grass isn't always greener on the other side!

With a little help from a wise spotted bunny, two unlikely friends begin to understand that everyone has different experiences, and there's nothing wrong with being exactly who you are.

Never Picked Up, written by Andrew McDowell and illustrated by K. T. Seto, is a heartwarming children's story about friendship, understanding different perspectives, self-acceptance, and appreciating what makes each of us unique.

A sweet reminder that you don't have to change who you are to belong.
