About the author
Alice Oseman was born in 1994 in Kent, England. She completed a degree in English at Durham University in 2016 and is currently a full-time writer and illustrator. Alice can usually be found staring aimlessly at computer screens, questioning the meaninglessness of existence, or doing anything and everything to avoid getting an office job. Alice's first book, SOLITAIRE, was published when she was nineteen.

I just can’t get enough of this beautiful love story. I’m a generation apart from these characters but I am learning so much from them…about being accepting of myself and others, about finding the joy in every day, about being hopeful that true love really does exist 🥰 Thank you Alice Oseman… thank you!

This book for me all in my feelings! Since watching Netflix iv become invested in the books and I can say this is my favourite so far.
The Next Chapter
Having read all the “Heartstopper” novels, “Solitaire” and the Netflix show, this makes a must-read companion piece as it jumps ahead to cover the next stage in Nick & Charlie’s life. In the time since “Heartstopper”, their relationship has developed and matured. I sincerely hope Alice Oseman makes more books with these characters, as they make you feel so much emotion, either about the characters or your own life. As for the book itself, I love that it’s not too long and seems to mesh together the “normal” text style of “Solitaire” with the occasional graphic novel pictures common in “Heartstopper”.
