From 1980-2009 he taught annually at The Stanford Professional Publishing Course, Stanford University, California and from 1983-2005 he taught at The Poynter Institute for Media Studies, St Petersburg, Florida. He lectures extensively in the US and abroad.
About the Author
Steven Heller is the art director of the New York Times Book Review for 27 years. For the preceding three he was art director for the OP-Ed page. He has served as editor of the AIGA Journal of Graphic Design for over fifteen years and is currently editor of its online journal VOICE. As author, co-author, and editor he has produced of over 90 books, most on the history and practice of graphic design, illustration, and satiric art.
