Nine Lives

The true meaning of the saying ‘Cats have nine lives’ has through the years been lost. Human beings now think it means that cats have a remarkable ability to survive life-threatening situations. But the saying really refers to the existence of a magic life shared by groups of nine cats. Nine Lives tells the twenty-four-hour story of nine such cats. They each live their magic life for two hours and forty minutes, and then revert to their normal instinctive way of living. The story begins at 4pm.
