Alex is a British Aesthetic Surgeon, living in Madrid. His life has become a dichotomy between the customers he loathes and the money he earns. In a rapidly evolving postmodern world where phrases like cancer, celebrity, the fat gene and reality TV are as much a part of his life as nose jobs, boob jobs and tummy tucks, Alex analyses not just the state of society, but his place in it.
