Of Herd and Water

Originally written for a small group of medievalist, Of Herd and Water touches on the food and culture of Yuan Dynasty Mongolia. The first printing contained redacted recipes to encourage the medievalists to cook these historic foods.

Anyone with an interest in the great Khans and their outriders can now get the Of Herd and Water.

The recipes allow cooks to work in a modern kitchen or over cooking fires. Of Herd and Water offers a casual introduction and primer to the flavorful world of the Yuan Dynasty.
